Arsenal Oasis

Arsenal Oasis, constructed for the 2020 Tbilisi Architecture Biennial, is an evolving test garden made from the city's surplus land and water. The project initiates a new landscape from a leaking water main that once served the Soviet army base.

Beta Laydown

Beta Laydown is a site work articulating surplus capacity within a mineral reclamation system. In Beta, the reciprocity between slow, geological processes of evaporation mining is linked to the exceptional velocities of land-speed trials.

The Salt Mountain Disturbance

The Salt Mountain Disturbance, exhibited at Artisterium in Tbilisi, drew from field research on the vegetation and substrates of a salt stockpile site in Columbus. Through subtle grading changes and vegetation management, Salt Mountain converts what was a hazardous surplus—road salt—and channels it into a striking urban landscape of mineral gradients and salt-tolerant ruderal species.
