Digital modeling tools allow us to understand the metrics and ecological performance of damba configurations, but pictorial landscapes allow us to imagine and interpret these landscape from a human perspective.
Designing the damba landscape from both a metrics-based and pictorial perspective allows us to create a landscape imbued with interpretive form. We can use these digital tools to set up ecological conditions along pedestrian paths and viewpoints, creating key moments where differing conditions come into focus.
